ABOUT THE BOOK

Welcome to Age Up Age Well. The tree on the cover represents the nature of aging. From roots to stems we have been evolving and becoming who we were meant to be. Trees are resilient and inspire me to reach up to and past any real or perceived barriers. I've created opportunities to stay safe and maximize your independence. You'll be empowered to ask for assistance if needed, self-advocate for your physical and emotional health, and shake up your routine to boldly surprise your brain.

Strategies to stay sharp and engaged are provided using a variety of multi-sensory activities. We remain strong by keeping our joints and muscles in motion. Physical activity doesn't have to be boring. A strong body improves our quality of life because it keeps us moving forward.

The following opportunities are based on personal and professional experiences. This is not a calendar. Randomly flip through and pick a place to start. You can check off that item once completed, and you can go back to these same pages again and again.
